Claire Linic (they/them) is an LA-based writer and researcher. They have experience working in podcasting, publishing, and marketing.
Claire Linic got their start in the Chicago comedy scene. Where they performed 10 PM shows six nights a week. Through this work they began teaching for the Second City, and have continued to do so for the past 7 years.
Claire is now in bed every night by 10 PM sharp, but they continue to bring their comedic voice to everything they do. Just at a more reasonable hour.
They have published two books: The Awkward Phase (Skyhorse) and Our Perfect Marriage (Quirk Books). Through this work, they have achieved the level of celebrity of being asked for a photo exactly once. There is a decent chance the person was confusing Claire for a young Donny Osmond.
Along with their spouse, Claire did the writing and research for Work in Progress with Sophia Bush through Rabbit Grin Productions. Claire also has done writing and research on Spotify podcast originals including Hostages and Conspiracy Theories.
For the past three years, Claire has worked as a copywriter for BarkBox. The work they’ve done has included paid social, lifecycle marketing emails, commercials, website copy, and endless dog puns. During their time at BARK, Claire was promoted to Senior Copywriter. They celebrated at a tiki bar by raising the woof.
